How it works

Three taps from sighting to shared.

No forms, no friction. If you can take a photo, you can add a sighting.

๐Ÿ‘€

Spot

A peacock on your morning walk. A mongoose crossing the street. An owl calling at night. Don't just walk past.

๐Ÿ“ธ

Record

Snap a photo right there, or pick one from your library โ€” the moment stays with the sighting.

๐Ÿ“

Share

Drop the pin exactly where you saw it. Your sighting joins the community map instantly.

Capture

Photo, sound & pin โ€” done in 30 seconds

The add-sighting flow is built for the moment. Because the moment doesn't wait.

Respect the wild

Built for people who love animals

Yori is a community of spotters, not disturbers. We ask everyone to follow a few simple rules:

  • Keep a respectful distance โ€” never chase, feed or disturb wildlife
  • Follow local wildlife-protection laws, always
  • Don't share precise locations of endangered species
  • Spot responsibly. The wild was here first.
FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Yori free?

Yes โ€” posting sightings and exploring the map are completely free.

Can other people see my location?

Sightings are public by design โ€” the location you pin on a sighting is visible to all users, along with the photo and your nickname. Your live/current location is never shared. Tip: don't post sightings from places you want to keep private, like your home.

How do I sign in?

With just your email โ€” we send a one-time code (OTP), no passwords to remember.

How do I delete my account?

Right inside the app: Settings โ†’ Delete Account. It permanently removes your account, sightings and photos.

Which animals can I post?

Anything you spot โ€” birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, even pets (great for reuniting lost ones with their humans).
